The Birth of the Prophetic

I now understand that it is God's will that all saints are to be prophetic. Notice I did not say called to be a prophet. This is emphasizing that it is God's will that we all would speak on His behalf.

Numbers 11:25-29 '25] And the Lord came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease. 26] But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle: and they prophesied in the camp. 27] And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp. 28] And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them. 29] And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the Lord's people were prophets, and that the Lord would put his spirit upon them!'

This was during the time where Moses was complaining to God about the bearing of the ministry. God instructed Moses to gather all the elders of Israel (70) and in that gathering, as you read above, God performed a prophetic impartation with Moses and the 70 elders and the bible said they all began to prophesy.

There were two other men, Medad and Eldad were not assembled at the tabernacle with the elders that also began to prophesy. They were reported to Moses and Joshua requested that they were rebuke by Moses (in so many words). Moses response to Joshua was (pay attention to the verbiage) "Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the Lord's people were prophets, and that the Lord would put his spirit upon them!" In order words don't be envious or jealous for my sake. In fact my desire is that you all would prophesy and that God will pour His Spirit upon EVERYONE!. Why is that verbiage so important?

We if we travel a few years up, we see that Joel the prophet receives a prophetic Word from God stating in Joel 2:28 "And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:"

Even in Acts 2:17 we, see the prophecy manifested on the Day of Pentecost when Peter the apostle uttered Joel's prophesy, through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit saying "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:"

So as you see by us receiving the Holy Spirit we were baptized in the prophetic realm! We become the witness of Jesus Christ through prophesy as stated in Revelation 19:10 "And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

Hi There

We want to help you excel in the prophetic ministry! Our goal is not to make you a prophet for only God can do that from birth. But our desire is to introduce a new dimension (measure) of fellowship with God. If you believe that God has more for you but not sure how to tap into that, you have reached the right place!
